ACEO - Warm tropical colors

Tropical environments have always been one of my favorite locations. Bold bright colors really appeal to the artist in me and the bio-diversity keeps my scientific curiosity guessing. My favorite tropical location is Northern Queensland, Australia where I love the rainforest, mangrove and reef creatures. Sunsets are another subject that I enjoy creating in miniature - (silhouettes surrounded by warm rich colors). All the original paintings on this page (except the puffer fish and humpback whale) are 2.5'' x 3.5'' watercolor and have sold.

Sunsets

Warm colors collide and blend as evenings fall. Silhouettes are always wonderful subjects because the shapes create the feelings we experience.
